Dr. Malissa Maria Mahmud
Malissa Maria Mahmud is Senior Lecturer at Sunway University and her research interests consist of the vast areas of English studies and teaching, human and mediated communications, as well as varieties in English. Over her career, Dr Mahmud has presented and published prolifically in top conference and journals and won The Best Paper and Excellence in Teaching awards. She has been appointed as a technical committee for numerous conferences and publishers such as British Journal of Education, Society & Behavioural Science, International Conference on Teaching and Education Sciences, and Taylor’s Teaching and Learning Conference. She is currently a member of the editorial reviewer board and technical committee of Journal of Online Research, an international peer-reviewed publication of the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education. Dr Mahmud is engaged in significant academic and professional activities. To date, she has been granted and contracted with highly competitive external grants from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia where she collaborates with academicians from private and public universities.
